Project HOPE and three children’s hospitals in Shanghai, Beijing and Taipei have organized a multinational children’s art competition, “World of Love” to celebrate Project HOPE's 50th year of providing health education and humanitarian assistance to children around the world, the 25th anniversary of Project HOPE in China and the 10th anniversary of Shanghai Children’s Medical Center, Project HOPE's flagship program in the country.
Today, four hundred pieces of art from "World of Love" initiative decorate the walls of the Shanghai Children’s Medical Center giving comfort and encouragement to children who are presently undergoing treatment. Project HOPE will bring up to 1,500 pieces of the art, created by young patients and children to the U.S. for multiple exhibits, events and eventual sale. Funds raised through the auction of the colorful art will support children’s health programs around the world.
